Salesforce Optimization
When the user selects the “Use Mailing Address for Both Addresses” checkbox, only one address spot now appears and it indicates that the user is completing the address for BOTH Mailing and Legal Address. Previously both Mailing and Legal Address spots would appear (even if the checkbox was checked) and it would lead to confusion if both address spots needed to be filled out.
This is now defaulted to “All” and you no longer have to select it each time.
Updated the Person, Vendor, and Non-Natural Person screens to include more clear wording on what is/isn’t supposed to be added.
After you select the primary person for a Non-Natural Person Entity, the next screen includes more clear wording to indicate the user needs to select the role for the Primary person they just selected.
When all the financial holdings are marked as closed, the Financial Account status indicates “Terminated”.
When all the financial accounts linked to an account are marked as Terminated, the Account status indicates “Terminated”.
We adjusted Salesforce to allow you to update an email in Salesforce if it is blank instead of going through the address change wizard.
The Fund Admin team requested an easy to navigate and communicate changes to private equity (AIP) investments (i.e. changing distribution information, adding an authorized contact to receive K1s) to the fund administration team
Right now users have to email the fund administration team detailing out their change. All the users are pretty unclear what the process is and what paperwork is required for each change. We allow users to select the most frequently identified changes and include an “Other” option WITH clear instruction on what paperwork is required to make the change. Users are unable to submit the request unless they upload the required paperwork. This reduces the back and forth and increases the probability that the request is in good order.
