Ed Wright
Ed brings over 25 years of industry leading expertise in wealth management and fintech having expertise in SaaS, CRM, portfolio management, document management, trust systems, partnership account solutions, and operations workflow solutions. Ed also brings prior family office, trust company, and RIA leadership experience in operations and technology, and experience leading SaaS delivery teams. In Ed’s past role as a Vice President, Product Delivery at Skience, Ed led the SaaS delivery and training teams. Prior to that, Ed worked at SS&C Salentica in leadership, product management, and partner relationship roles, and created a new training and solutions team. Before SS&C, Ed was a Managing Director of a family office, RIA and trust company. Ed led the implementation of several projects that enhanced customer experiences including disaster recovery, electronic document storage, and a modern website. During the summers, Ed enjoys spending weekends on the various lakes in North Carolina, enjoying the Blue Ridge mountains, and taking in nature.

What does the phrase, “Do Good with Tech” mean to you?
“Do Good with Tech” to me is about providing a positive digital transformation for an organization. It is about delivering a higher quality level of service and experience to both employees of the organization and its clients. I want to determine the best solutions that meet the goals of a firm and allow their teams to focus on those services that provide the most differentiated value to the firm and let the technology handle the rest in a positive and easy manner. The tech decisions should help drive and support the overall vision of the company.
Who or what inspires you in your job?
I am inspired by success in my job, though maybe not the success you would expect. I take no greater joy and no greater inspiration than to see the success of one of my clients or employees. The greatest judgement of your effectiveness as a leader is the success of others with whom you directly work. Seeing a team member get promoted or a client achieve a new level of growth, client satisfaction, or efficiency as a result of my guidance and recommendations makes me energized and rewarded.
