Katie Delwiche

Katie conducts deep dive analysis work and project management to support the overall implementation process. She is an accomplished industry expert in the financial services industry with over 24 years of experience. Her experience includes working with portfolio managers to help them identify market risk; project management and implementation, strategic planning and back office operations management. Minnesota based, Katie has worked in large corporations, small corporations and international start-ups.

What are three words that describe how you do your job?

I’m “Detailed”, “Curious” and “Strategic.”

What would you tell someone just starting out in the industry right now?

Be true to who you are and do things your way. It’s really easy to try to emulate someone you admire, but there is only one you and your lens is important and adds value. Be confident in yourself but always be willing to admit when you are wrong. Ask questions until you understand. Once the project kicks off and you are way down the road, it is hard to go back and ask questions that you wish you had asked right away. Try to check your ego at the door and allow yourself to be vulnerable and curious.  People appreciate authenticity and hard work. You’ll continue to learn every single day, no one knows it all.

What are you most passionate about in your role at F2 Strategy?

I love being able to work with many different companies at the same time. There is so much value in having a front row seat into how leaders at different firms make decisions and implement them. I’m constantly evolving and learning from each interaction which enables me to formulate the vision to help companies find the best version of themselves. It’s exciting to make change happen!
